1. Inter house activities are held as per the Planner of the school. Music classes, Classical dance classes, Jazz dance classes are regularly in the school. Activity clubs such as Karate club, Yoga club, Art & Craft club, Funny readers club, music club, body building club etc. are fully functional in the school.
2. The school also has a quota of 50 cadets of the NCC.
3. Personality Development is treated with utmost importance while educating the students.
4. The students are regularly taken for treks, nature walks, picnics and excursions. The school has lately taken its students to places like Mumbai, Goa, Nainital, Jim Corbett park, Science City, Shimla, Manali. Chandigarh etc.

The school takes its students on picnics regularly and on an outstation trip once or twice a year. The school students were taken to Mumbai, Lonavala, Essel World, Matheran, Kullu Manali, Shimla, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Mussorie in the past years. All these are chargeable over and above the normal charges of the school.
Guru Nanak Public School Dalhousie(GNPS, Dalhousie) was established in 1999 under the farsighted vision of Capt. NS Bhandari and Mrs. Raksha Bhandari. Capt. NS Bhandari, a renowned educationist is a Sena Medal awardee for his services in the Indian Army. He has almost 40 years of experience in the field of education and institution administration. Mrs. Raksha Bhandari (28.11.1939 to 03-8-2007) spent her entire life in the service of education. Her vast experience in the field of teaching provided impetus to the endeavours of GNPS Dalhousie.
